Lipovox

Background
Acne in Review examines the power behind Lipovox, an all-in-one natural supplement for acne, wrinkles and weight loss.

From the moment we read the headline, “Burn up to 400% more fat than with just diet and exercise alone” we were intrigued.

Lipovox was created as a low cost way to get the goodness of 10 doctor recommended SUPERFOODS, plus antioxidants. A Superfood is a food rich in phytochemicals, special chemicals that have been noted to have disease-fighting properties.

The founder worked with one of the largest Nutraceautical companies in the world to find the highest concentration of all 10 Super Foods. And, apparently the results were outstanding.

Participants who tested the supplement for 10 days saw a dramatic improvement in acne, skin tone and completion, as well as weight loss and overall well-being.

Some of the reasons to consider Lipovox would be:

• A smoother more radiant complexion and less acne
• The potential to lose 6 to 10 pounds in 10 days
• It’s incredible nutritional content

Ingredients
In each capsule of Lipovox you’ll find extracts from 10 powerful SuperFoods:

1. Brazilian Acai – Known as the perfect energy fruit, Acai comes from the heart of the Brazilian forest, contains a remarkable concentration of antioxidants and help combat the signs of premature aging.
2. Cayenne Pepper Fruit – Cayenne peppers are high in antioxidant carotenes and flavonoids, and contain about twice the amount of vitamin C found in citrus fruits. Cayenne is also great for supercharging your metabolic rate helping you to burn body fat at a much higher rate.
3. Garlic – Garlic lowers total cholesterol, but raises HDL–”good”–cholesterol. It lessens the risk of atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), may lower blood pressure, may reduce the risk of blood clots, destroys infection-causing viruses and bacteria, produces more “natural killer” cells in the blood to fight infections, and enhances detoxification by reducing toxins.

4. Soybeans Isoflavones – Soybeans are considered “smart” carbs. They are low on the glycemic scale, which eliminates a hunger-inducing spike in blood sugar levels associated that occurs with refined grains and goods baked.
5. Barley – Barley provides a super form of Vitamin E and it helps the body metabolize fats, cholesterol and carbohydrates as it lowers blood cholesterol levels. Insoluble fiber, commonly called “roughage”, promotes a healthy digestive tract.
6. Wheatgrass – A powerful food that stimulates metabolism, raises red blood-cell count, lowers blood pressure and cleanses the blood, organs and gastrointestinal tract of debris.
7. Lactobacillus Acidophilus – This is a healthy bacteria found in high concentrations in Kefir and Yogurt. Also known as a Probiotic. It helps fight against infectious diseases and intestinal systems healthy.
8. Alfalfa Sprouts – As we age, our body’s ability to produce enzymes declines. Sprouts are a concentrated source of the living enzymes and “life force”.
9. Flaxseed – Great for controlling wrinkles and reducing the visible signs of aging and sagging skin. Flaxseed has a remarkable fatty acid profile and is rich source of lignans.
10. Buckwheat – A seed that resembles a grain, Buckwheat ranks low on the glycemic scale. Its protein characteristics help to reduce and stabilize blood sugar levels following meals.
Plus, Super Antioxidants: Green Tea Extract, Salmon Oil Powder, Alpha Lipoic Acid and DMAE.

Website
Created in a single, long scrolling page, the Lipovox website may not look as professional as other acne website, yet is still interesting and informative. A top menu bar can be used to jump to specific areas of information.

The website provides a generous amount of information related to the ingredients within the supplement and the benefits derived from them. Compete with product pictures that liven up the page.

Further down the page, browsers will find a half dozen or so compelling stories or testimonials about weight loss, however our Acne in Review team would have liked to see a few more about the acne and skin improvements that this product provided.

Lifestyle
Our Acne in Review team was surprised that no celebrities or doctors have endorse this product. With Hollywood on the Acai and Super Food bandwagon as well as so many famous doctors, like Dr Perricone and Dr Oz recommending Super Foods we found it surprising that a product of this caliber had very little media coverage.

Pros
Our acne in Review team felt that Lipovox provided an inexpensive alternative to buying and eating these 10 Super Foods, and antioxidants.

We were impressed by the honesty of the FAQ section, as well as the company’s 100% unconditional Lifetime Money Back Guarantee. Empty bottles can be returned for a full refund. We also liked the fact that buyers were not automatically enrolled in some kind of autoship program.

Buyers can however purchase larger quantities of Lipovox and get bonuses and discounts. One 30-capsule bottle sells for 29.99.

Cons
One bottle of Lipovox sells for $29.99. Two bottles sells for $59.98 plus buyers get a free 20 tips. Buy four bottles for 119.96 and get 20 tips and the 5th bottle free. Buy 6 bottles for $179.94 and get 20 tips and 2 free bottles.

Tricks
Buyers have a choice between USP and priority shipping. The prices for shipping seemed quite reasonable. No other discounts or special were available at this time.

Well that was a very detailed review……..but are u sure that Lipovox has no adverse side effects? I browsed their site and it looked like the product hardly had any formal scientific testing before marketing. I might be wrong…….but don’t you think it’s dangerous especially for the food supplements?

I have revisited the Lipovox site after reviewing your comment, and with fresh eyes i do agree with you: the lack of science or hard data is not encouraging. Also, in the FAQ section, they blatantly disregarded the need to prove results with actual before and after photos based on the glowing customer reviews they provided on their site.

If you are looking for supplements targeting weight loss and skincare more eager to back the science up(and well established, acclaimed), I reccomend exploring the Perricone system. get more information here http://www.perriconemd.com/category/supplements.do and http://www.dailyperricone.com/2009/01/dr-perricones-top-10-super-supplements-recap/
