Why you need a sunscreen?

Look for the sunscreen products that are labeled as oil free or noncomedogenic. Using these lotions will protect your skin pores from getting clogged, and also not lend a sticky feeling to your skin. If you have an extremely oily skin then you will be pleasantly surprised to find these products.

If you are looking for maximum protection from sun then it is recommended that you always use a sunscreen that protects you against both UVA and UVB rays. There are some sunscreens that provide protection only against ultraviolet rays. Therefore be careful to choose the one that blocks UVA as well as UVB rays.
Check the SPF:
SPF or Sun Protection Factor is a way to evaluate protection from the UVB rays. If the SPF is higher then that means it offers higher protection. It is recommended by the American Academy of Dermatology to use a sunscreen having SPF 15 or higher.

I have mild ache on my nose, chins, and fore head. Also I have a mixed type of skin with an oily T-panel and dry cheeks. Can you advice me a a sunblock lotion? I presently say in Phoenix, which has a warm and sunny weather.
Nice post!!
@ Zach: It is better if you use sunscreen lotion with SPF 34. Go for any water-based lotion for your T-panel and cream based for the cheeks. But I am not that confident about the brand (my skin can take almost anything); so can anyone please advice a good sun screen with SPF 34!
There are many people who use Tretinoin for acne. Regular use of such chemicals can actually make your skin sensitive. Thereby, using sunscreen is essential. I generally use DCL’s UVA/UVB Chemfree Superblock SPF 30. You can also try Essential Skin Protection SPF 30.
Please help my sister to pick out a sunscreen. She has extremely oily skin and it becomes too greasy after applying sunscreen.
